After graciously accepting the Coppell H.S. students offer to speak at the February 2012 meeting, chapter President Ken Ruffin has slightly revised the title of his presentation, and will speak on the “NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts, and NASA’s Space Technology Roadmaps” during the March 2012 meeting. The first meeting of 2012 is Sunday, January 8, at 3:30pm at the Spring Creek BBQ in Irving, TX (off Beltline & 183).     The National Space Society of North Texas performs valuable educational opportunities for kids in the North Texas area. Currently, we have both the upcoming Space Camp Contest and we have a yearly Science Fair Scholarship Fund in Dallas where we award students for researching opportunities for humans working and living in space.
